Sip a story — small snapshots of personal experiences, told quick. Like sipping a cup of tea: short, sweet, something to take in on the go.
March 2012. My first time travelling home after being placed in Gurgaon for my first job. I was running late, and as soon as I reached the station, I could hear the announcements — the train had just arrived.
I rushed. But just as I reached the platform, the doors closed and the train left without me. I stood there in disbelief, thinking about how just a minute had cost me the ride. Disappointed, I sat on the platform, feeling hopeless.
Then I noticed a guy walking toward me, equally disappointed. He had missed the train too. With no reservations, we decided to take the next one.
The overnight journey turned into an unexpected adventure — we shared stories, food, and laughs, and by the end I realised time wasn't just about punctuality. It's about the moments and people you encounter along the way.
Sometimes, it's not about catching the train on time. It's about the unexpected connections that make the journey worthwhile.
